Measuring Length
When deciding on your desired length, think about where you want your pendant or charm to hit. Measure by taking a string, wrapping it around your neck and choosing where you want your necklace to sit on your chest. Then take the string and measure the length in inches.
Layering
For a shorter necklace that hits at your collar bone, choose a 16” chain. Anything longer will create a different look as it falls lower on your chest. Don’t be afraid to layer either! So many beautiful and intricate looks can be created by combining different lengths and different metals. This adds dimension and variety. Pairing diverse pieces together not only can spice up any outfit, but allows you to have several custom options such as a necklace with name, initial, or date!
